The EAPS undergraduate program provides students with a solid background in applied chemistry, classical physics, and applied mathematics as well as a full introduction to the core areas of earth science: geology, geophysics, geochemistry, atmospheric science, oceanography, planetary science, and astronomy.

The EAPS undergraduate program provides students with a solid background in applied chemistry, classical physics, and applied mathematics as well as a full introduction to the core areas of earth science: geology, geophysics, geochemistry, atmospheric science, oceanography, planetary science, and astronomy.Students are asked to take a limited number of core subjects and then encouraged to devise their own course of study (for approval by the student's academic advisor and the undergraduate committee of the department).
