2:00 Depart for lodge at base of Mt. Washington (New Hampshire)

8:00+ Evening activities: Astronomy exploration

Friday, August 27

9:00 - 12:00 Activity 4: Ascent to Mt. Washington and observations of the area

12:00 - 2:00 Lunch at summit and tour of Mt. Washington Observatory

2:00 - 5:00 Hike to the Alpine garden or "Geology" at the top

5:00 - 6:30 Descent

6:30 Depart for Boston, dinner on the way

10:00 Adjourn
