Dr. Daniel GoldbergDan, who is an NSF, Office of Polar Programs, Fellow, is an expert on modeling ice streams and ice shelves in Antarctica.  After completing his Ph.D. at NYU on  "Dynamic simulation and study of land ice-ice shelf interactions", Dan spent two years at Princeton/GFDL, working on ice shelf-ocean coupling and inversion methods to better constrain ice stream/shelf dynamics.  He will continue and expand this work here in Patrick's group. Dan's office is on the 14th floor, room 1423. and his email is dgoldber@mit.edu.
