MIT-WHOI Joint Program grad student Nick Woods and the team from the Autonomous Systems Laboratory at WHOI are helping to untangle the combination of physical and biological processes that create dense patches of the tiny marine organism (codepods) favored by basking sharks, cod, haddock and the endangered North Atlantic right whale.
