After buzzing with activity for months, the Boyle Lab is quiet this week...
The team sail on the R/V Knorr, departing Lisbon October 15th to arrive back in Woods Hole on December 5. Boyle (who will be chief scientist) will be accompanied by post-doc Gonzalo Carrasco and graduate student Jessica Fitzsimmons. You can track the location of the Knorr during the cruise here.
A second cruise to take place between mid-November and mid-December, leaves from Chile and goes to Easter Island in the South Pacific. Graduate student Jong-Mi Lee will accompany Rick Kayser (technical support) on this trip.
