Congratulations Dr. Gibbons

Fern Tolley Gibbons (MIT-WHOI Joint Program/ Marine Geology and Geophysics) successfully defended her doctoral thesis "The centennial and millennial variability of the IndoPacific Warm Pool and the Indonesian Throughflow" at WHOI last Friday. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship by MIT's Sea Grant College Program, where she has been placed in the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee, Republican Staff, for the period February 1, 2012-January 31, 2013.
