Congratulations Dr. Barton

Andrew Barton (Climate Physics & Chemistry) successfully defended his doctoral thesis "Trait-based Approaches to Marine Microbial Ecology" today. Andrew’s advisor was Mick Follows. Andrew has been featured in a number of articles: Ecological Balancing Act (a 2010 story from the MIT News office), a 2010 documentary by MIT student Helen Hou about the Darwin project and Incense, Ceders and Failed Expectations an article from www.callofscience.com in which Andrew reflects on the origin of his interest in marine microbes.
