On Wednesday the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency issued its Mercury and Air Toxics Standards, or MATS, aimed at dramatically cutting the amount of highly toxic mercury and about 70 other pollutants released in the United States. PAOC's Noelle Selin speaks with the LA Times about the new rules.
