Celebrating the Legacy of Jule Charney and Ed Lorenz

Thursday, Friday, February 1st & 2nd, 2018

On Thursday and Friday, Feb. 1st & 2nd, we held a symposium "MIT on Chaos & Climate" to celebrate the extrodinary lives and works of Jule Charney and Ed Lorenz, two pioneers of modern meteorlogy. You can read the full story of the symposium here, along with photographs taken from the event.

We also have a video of the second-day event available to be streamed at your leisure.

In preparation for the event, we also created two displays dedicated to Jule Charney and Ed Lorenz which were later hung for display within the EAPS building.
