"Dating the Tree of Life using fossils and phylogenomics" | About the speaker: My research focuses on the evolution of animal metamorphosis, from proximate and historical perspectives. I synthesize developmental gene expression (across arthropods and other invertebrates) with fine-scale geological and fossil timing of the appearance of morphological and ecological traits.
