Terrascope Mission 2021 Final Presentation
Date Time Location
December 6th, 2017 7:00pm-10:00pm MIT Campus 10-250
Come see this year’s Terrascope students present their climate adaptation plans for MIT and southern Bangladesh.

Each year Terrascope engages a group of first-year students in developing a plan to address a central challenge related to environmental sustainability. This year’s topic is Preparing the World for Climate Change, and we have asked the students to focus their plans on MIT and southern Bangladesh. The students have spent the term researching the problem, exploring solutions, engaging experts both on and off campus, and learning to tackle real-world issues in all their complexity.

The students will present their plan to a panel of experts and a public audience, followed by questions from the panel and audience. Our expert panelists this year are:

- Professor Monirul Mirza, University of Toronto
- Professor Kasia Paprocki, London School of Economics & Political Science
- Israel Ruiz, Executive Vice President and Treasurer, MIT
- Darci Schofeld, Senior Environmental Planner, Metropolitan Area Planning Council

Questions welcome from the audience as well as the panel. Free and open to the general public. Reception to follow.
