Time Magazine, naming David Keith a “Hero of the Environment,” said: “The fact that geoengineering schemes — intervening in the climate by shielding the earth’s surface from trillions of watts of sunshine, or sucking billions of tons of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere — have started to get serious attention from policymakers is in large part due to Keith’s work looking at what such tools can do, and what it might mean to use them.”
David Keith, winner of MIT’s prize for Excellence in Experimental Physics works at the interface of climate science, energy technology and public policy. He is a leading world expert on geoengineering and was named by TIME Magazine as a Hero of the Environment. He is a dynamic and fascinating speaker and will talk on a subject at the forefront of climate change research.
