MIT Women's Unconference: Completing the equation
Date Time Location
March 9th, 2018 12:00am-12:00am MIT Samberg Center, 50 Memorial Dr., Cambridge, MA
The purpose of the MIT Women's unConference, scheduled for March 9-10, 2018, is to connect alumnae to the Institute and to one another, to celebrate their leadership, careers, talents, and interests, and to "complete the equation" for some of the toughest challenges facing women in the world today.

As one of the most prestigious universities producing alumnae in engineering and science in the world, MIT is in a unique position to be a leader in the discussions around the many challenges still facing women in industry, academia, and government today. The MIT Alumni Association, with its history of convening women's conferences and celebrating its women's network of leaders and achievers, has the power to convene and facilitate such discussions. We aim to do so on March 9 and 10.

Why an "unConference"? Because we don't simply expect attendance. Rather, MIT alumnae themselves will shape the conference's direction, priorities, and impact. Also, the conference will gather a worldwide audience of women participating remotely as well as on campus. This will include opportunities for prospective MIT students and women students on the MITx platform from around the world.

How will you take part on March 9-10? Wherever you are in the world, you can participate.
