Julien de Wit
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Thursday, January 9th at 3pm - 4pm followed by Q&A
Take a step back and look at the role that astronomy has played over human history. This talk will invite you to consider where we are at as a species, together with our environment, as we are approaching a paradigm-shifting experience that could be leveraged to seed change, the next step in our space odyssey: stumbling upon life elsewhere. The talk will put our origins in context, as getting back to them may help us navigate more intentionally our future.
